Australian Bush Flower Essences have been researched and developed by Ian White, a fifth generation Australian herbalist and Naturopath. The Australian Bush Flowers are a complementary therapy, derived from flowers and plants. The Australian Aboriginals have always used flowers to heal the emotions, as did the Ancient Egyptians. There has also been a very long tradition of use of Flower Essences in India, Asia and South America and they were also very popular in Europe in the Middle Ages. Hildegard von Bingen (12th century) and Paracelsus (15th century) both wrote about how they collected dew from flowering plants to treat health imbalances.

Ian White grew up in the Australian bush. As a young boy his grandmother, like her mother before her, specialised in using Australian plants and would often take him bush walking. From her deep understanding she would point out the many healing plants and flowers. He learned a profound respect for nature through her and went on to become a practitioner and a pioneer working with and researching the rare remedial qualities of Australian native plants.

Australia has the world's oldest and highest number of flowering plants exhibiting tremendous beauty and strength. Australia is also relatively unpolluted and metaphysically has a very wise, old energy. Practitioners and healers around the world are now incorporating the Australian Bush Essences into their therapy practices with amazing results. To date there are sixty nine remedies.

The Bush Flower Essences are a system of healing. They give clarity to one's life but also the courage, strength and commitment to follow and pursue one's goals and dreams. They help to develop a higher level of intuition, self - esteem, spirituality & creativity. The more the Essences are used, the more one is likely to experience greater awareness and happiness in one's life. When this happens negative beliefs and thoughts are dissolved, balance is restored and true healing occurs.

They help address the needs and requirements of people from our time, they address the issues of the 21st century - sexuality, communication skills and spirituality to name but a few.

Preparation & Use:

Australian Bush Flower essences are produced by imprinting a flower’s unique vibrational healing signature onto the carrier solution. An alternative method is simply to boil the flower in spring water for thirty minutes. In this way, the healing qualities of the flower transfer to the water, which results in the first stage of preparation: the "mother tincture". Seven drops of this tincture are then added to a 30 ml bottle containing a mixture of one-third purified water and two-thirds of brandy to create a "stock strength" bottle. A normal "dosage" bottle is then made up by putting seven drops of the stock in a 30 ml bottle of water (with approximately one-quarter brandy and three-quarters spring water).

Normal treatment then consists of taking seven drops in the morning and seven drops at night for two to four weeks.   They assist in healing as they help bring about emotional, physical balance and well-being in the whole person.

They are self- adjusting to the needs of the individual, quick acting and having a profound effect on the physical body. They are used to treat any number of ailments whether physical, mental or emotional. The Essences can be used by the whole family including your pets, newborns, infants, children, adults, during pregnancy, the elderly,  and people with terminal or chronic illness. Australian Bush Flower Essences can be taken alongside Conventional Medication.
